In 2020 during the time of Covid-19, me and my younger brother Abaan participated in the international art competition 'Graines d’artistes du monde entier'.
To our surprise, both of us made the top 100 from the 5,500 entrants from 66 countries!

In December 2020 (still Covid-19!), I got the exciting news that I had been selected as the Grand Prix Winner of the 2019-2020 Mitsubishi Asian Children's Enikki Festa.
Grand Prix is the top award for this competition and I was presented with the award by the Minister for Education Dr Aishath Ali. That was such an honour!

In October 2022, the Maldives People's Majlis (the parliament) announced its World Democracy Day Art Competition results.
It was an unexpected surprise to learn that my artwork had been selected as the second best in the competition.
(Must try harder - lol!)
